honestly like. if they're in their mid 20s or even a little earlier depending on the series. they're with me in my head esp since most series I follow there's clearly a decent amount of time passing in canon yet no updates but since it seems like there's a lot of people legitimately stressed. in my experience you'll probably have series with characters more in your range that you find. it's also interesting to see how years shift your perspectives on charas from works you already know both those you surpass and become closer in age to idk this is something I did find myself getting fairly sad over when I was younger so I wanted to add encouragement
